Exploring Explorers!

Group of children in school uniforms stand around an outdoor pond, watching a teacher launch their homemade boats.

As part of their inquiry, Year 2 have been finding out about great explorers, including Captain James Cook, who discovered Australia.

They used their new knowledge combined with their DT and Science skills to build boats and explore how people travelled in those days.

When complete, they had lots of fun testing the boats on the pond!
