Dear Parents
Thank you once again to our fab FoHPS Team for organising such a great Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon. The Easter bunny made an appearance and was delightfully cheeky as always, making the children laugh and hiding the eggs in tricky spots.
Without such a dedicated group of parents, events like this would not be possible, including the summer fair, fun run, discos, movie nights, frozen Fridays, cake sales etc.
At the end of this academic year, due to long standing members of the committee stepping down, we are facing the real possibility that there will be no PTA next year. We are in desperate need of more members, as well as a Chair. If you would like to find out more, please let me know.
Easter gifts from St Margaret’s Church, Horsmonden
Today, the children were all given a small gift, either a chocolate egg or wooden cross, from St Margaret’s Church including a leaflet detailing the Easter story.
Starfish Malawi
Following the visit from Chris Knott from Starfish Malawi, the Horsmonden Huddle have proudly announced that we intend to send our friends at Chapita Primary some resources in the next shipping container in May.
The Huddle have 2 ideas:
- To fill a water bottle with stationery items
- To fill a small shoe box with stationery items, small toys
The idea is that children can find a pre-loved water bottle (that is still fully functional) from home, or a small shoe box to fill with pre-loved items that are still of good quality. For anyone wishing to donate, please bring your boxes/water bottles in after Easter.
Ordering Lunches on MCAS
Thank you to everyone who is using MCAS to order lunches for their children. After Easter we will move away from on-the-day orders. We appreciate your cooperation as we make this transition.
