Parent Update – 30/01

Horsmonden Parent Update

Dear Parents

It’s time for the annual Leigh Academies Trust (LAT) Parental Survey, and we would love to hear from you. This is a key opportunity for you to share your thoughts on your child’s experience at Leigh Academy Horsmonden.

By participating, you help the Trust leadership understand how parents feel across all LAT schools. Locally, I will be reviewing all your feedback, both what we’re doing well and where we can improve, to ensure your voice directly shapes our school’s future. Once the results are in, I’ll be in touch to share the outcomes and our next steps.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could take a few moments to complete the survey via the link below. I am so proud of our Horsmonden community, and I want the Trust to see the positive impact we’re making together, alongside any constructive feedback you have for our growth.

Cucina – school lunches for children with allergies

We have been informed by Cucina that children with allergies must pre-order school lunches 1 week in advance, via MCAS.  If a school lunch has not been pre-ordered but is required on the day, Cucina will only serve a jacket potato with baked beans. If you have questions with regard to this, please speak with the School Office.

Football Five Star

Most of you will already know about Football Five Star, who run our KS1 and KS2 Football Afterschool Clubs, but for those of you who don’t, they are a local football coaching provider delivering fun, inclusive and high-quality football sessions for children.

They are running a Half Term Football Holiday Course on the 16th, 17th and 18th February at Marden Hockey Club, TN129AG.

The course is open to children of all abilities and focuses on fun, skill development, teamwork and game-based learning in a safe, positive environment. Please see the attached flyer for full details and booking information

Thank you for your continued support of Horsmonden, and I encourage you all to complete the parent survey to ensure the Trust leadership know what a special place Horsmonden is and how fortunate we are as parents, to have such a committed staff team helping our children learn and grow in their primary years.

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards
